Ingredients:
1 lb bhindi/okra cut in small pieces
1 small onion chopped
1 tbsp cumin seed
1/2 tsp asafoetida/hing
6 chopped garlic cloves
3 green chilies
1 small onion chopped
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/3 cup mustard oil
1 tbsp mustard oil extra.
Salt to taste
Directions:
Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seed and asadoetida/hing. Then add in the chopped onions and cook till translucent. Now add in the bhindi/okra and saute till slightly brown. Then make a little space in the middle and add 1 tbsp mustard oil and turmeric powder. Mix it all together with bhindi. Now add in chili powder, chaat masala, coriander powder and salt. Saute for few more mins. Then serve with chapathi or rice.
